Being a dedicated mother, a highly committed woman and an intensely passionate entrepreneur, I understand your desire to enjoy your children’s athletic activities while maintaining control over your time and your life. Your commitment to being a great sports mom expands far beyond simply being at all of your child’s games, it’s a combination of watching them grow, obtain new skills and life experiences, solve problems, and build relationships that can last a lifetime.
As an experienced Sports Mom, Team Mom and Business Leader turned Entrepreneur, I also understand the various daily struggles women experience in their busy lives. Despite all of our hard work and giving it our best, it has become increasingly difficult to be everything we often feel like we should be. Competition in youth sports is fierce, the pressure to keep a perfect home and excel in a rewarding career all while being a sexy vixen, can truly be overwhelming.
I know what it’s like to toss and turn at night over making a decision, to wonder if you’re kids are really happy, if there’s more you should be doing, and to look in the mirror and ask, “Am I doing the right thing for my children, is the pressure to perform too much for them or for me?”
Well let me tell you, I have absolutely been there! I spent more than a decade as a Sports Mom and have experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly of the youth sports world. As an outsider looking in my life looked perfect, and don’t get me wrong, it’s been a great life. I was blessed with a wonderful family, great job, nice house, and nice car but I was often waking up in the morning feeling overwhelmed and underappreciated. I had a burning desire to be everything to everyone, my children, my husband and my job. I decided to take control of my feelings of overwhelm and bend them to my will.
As an experienced Manager and Leader I knew I could utilize my organizational skills to share my LOVE of sports and OBSESSION with watching my children crush their goals. I volunteered to be the team mom for both of my sons youth baseball teams and youth football teams. I spent 8 years as the team mom of a variety of teams. I had a wonderful experience and gained an enormous amount of experience that I’m excited to share with other sports moms!
I have an extensive amount of experience in organizational training, management and leadership, and a passion for using my skills to serve others. I truly enjoy helping sports moms take control of their busy lives through organization and focus on what matters the most to them. I work with moms that are looking for a place to connect with other sports moms to share their real life issues, gain actionable tips to help organize their lives, and identify ways to increase their involvement in their children’s activities while maintaining or gaining the time freedom that we all desire.
MY JOURNEY
I was feeling restless in my job and began really wondering what I was supposed to be doing in my life. I began noticing some positive things happening in a friends network marketing business, so I made the decision to join her! This was my first experience with being a business owner. My decision was based on the amazing income earning opportunity and more importantly the time-freedom that women in the company were achieving. One of the first things I noticed was a big push to recruit team members to grow your team and ultimately, your business. Don’t get me wrong, I was very excited to build my team and change the lives of the business partners that joined me, but I quickly saw that there was no training offered to specifically teach people how to lead and develop the people they were bringing into their business, in a way that would set them up for success. This is when I realized I was meant for something BIG!
I am very lucky to have gathered over 15 years experience working in a variety of leadership roles in large organizations. This provided me the expertise necessary to teach my team the skills they need to be successful entrepreneurs that can serve and impact the world with confidence and grace. I recognize that no matter what your business is or where your passions lie, you need the skills to lead a team, communicate effectively, and recognize who you should invest in and partner with. These skills are crucial for maximizing growth in your business.
MY WORLD
Like many of you, I’ve been through good and bad in my life. Especially being a young wife and mother, it wasn’t always easy to set big goals and dream of the day I would accomplish them.
I attended College at California State University, Sacramento and would attend classes after I got my sons up and out to their elementary school each day. After dinner and chores were done we would dFelicia Chavarriao our homework together on the kitchen table. My boys used to get such a kick out of watching me leave the house in the morning with a backpack just like them!
Over the course of the next 15 years, I worked for large organizations leading training and professional development programs, managing various teams of people and developing a love of helping others achieve their goals.
My company is built on a passion for what’s possible and a commitment to be an unstoppable force for good. I’ve realized that my true calling is to help women entrepreneurs realize that they can, and they should, parent authentically.
